Key Note Speech by MISI Dr. Shardul Phadnis
2016 Manufacturing and Logistics Forum (Malaysia)

Dr. Phadnis gave the opening keynote address at the 2016 Manufacturing and Logistics Forum (Malaysia), held at Mandarin Oriental in KLCC on June 2. Dr. Phadnis described how today’s supply chains can get disrupted by three technology-enabled developments – namely, internet-of-things, 3D printing, and omnichannel retailing – and how companies can prepare to take advantage of these emerging capabilities, based on his own ongoing research in the above three areas.

The event was sponsored by Computerworld, Malaysia, and sought to explore the implications of advances in IT for the manufacturing and logistics companies. (Link to the event)
