Dr. Gonsalvez spoke at the Global Conference on Enterprise Risk Management on the topic “Is your Supply Chain Risk Blind – or Risk Resilient?”

Global Conference 2020

Supply chain leaders must continue to deliver value even under disruptive situations. While increasing safety stocks and localization of supply can help address disruptions in the short term, they are not long term solutions. Supply chain resilience and agility are essential for long term success in facing increasing volatility and disruptions in demand and supply. Dr. Gonsalvez highlighted the key elements required to build resilience and agility in the face of disruptions and illustrated how companies can achieve increased resilience.

MISI will offer a 2 day short course in supply chain management in early 2021 that highlights implementable actions that companies can take to build supply chain resilience and agility.
