2nd Biologistics Conference Singapore

Dr. Javad Feizabadi gave a talk in 2nd Biologistics conference held in Singapore 31st Jan to 1st Feb 2018. He shared the research evidence on how start-up and entrepreneurial supply chains/firms develop new business models based on operations/supply chain innovation. It was highlighted for the audience that business model innovation is nothing that operations/supply chain innovation. Specifically the context was entrepreneurial firms/supply chains in a nascent market in which bio technology firms could fit in.

Also he talked about primary differences of designing and managing operations/supply chains in nascent versus established market. In nascent market and entrepreneurial context, supply chains are required to optimise variety of trade-offs concurrently facing with limited resources, not very well developed routines and lack of reputation among both internal and external stakeholders.
