Dr Javad Feizabadi at Asian Automotive Manufacturing Summit

Dr Javad Feizabadi was the keynote speaker at The 3rd Asian Automotive Manufacturing Summit was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 15-17th August 2016. Dr. Feizabadi gave a talk on “Value / Supply Chain Strategy in Automotive Industry”. The talk covered some of the temporary developments in automotive industry architecture and how players in the industry is creating value and who captures more value than others. Whole issue of OEM, mega-supplier and 1st tier supplier in the industry based on two prominent trends in the industry namely “OUTSOURCING” and “MODULARITY” was discussed. Essentially the issue of modularity in auto value chain was addressed in the presentation. Also the presentation touched upon some of the disruptive technologies in automotive industry and their potential implications on auto industry value chain and architecture.
