Dr. Phadnis at Supply Chain and Logistics Innovation Forum in Singapore

Dr. Shardul Phadnis presented his research under the auspices of the MISI Center for e-Commerce and Retail Transformation (CART) at the Supply Chain and Logistics Innovation Forum in Singapore on Nov 17, 2017. Using several statistics, Dr. Phadnis highlighted the magnitude of the transformation South East Asia is likely to experience as the region’s consumers make more purchases online, but also explained why it is not a foregone conclusion that the brick-and-mortar stores have no meaningful way to survive and prosper in the e-commerce era. Following his presentation, Dr. Phadnis elaborated his views further in a panel discussion.
