Dr. Phadnis Presents CART Research at INFORMS

Dr. Phadnis presented two papers, related to two different research projects at the MISI Center for e-Commerce And Retail Transformation (CART), at the 2017 INFORMS Annual Meeting held in Houston. For the paper examining the supply chain practices of small and medium enterprise retailers, Dr. Phadnis presented the findings of the field study being conducted in Malaysia and presented a theoretical model – inducted from these findings – underlying the competitive advantage of small, large, and e-commerce retailers. For the paper examining the omnichannel retail environment, Dr. Phadnis’ talk describes how the omnichannel strategies are influenced by the retailer’s sourcing decisions.

INFORMS annual meeting is one of the two largest annual conferences of management scholars and practitioners in the world, with about 11,000 participating in this year’s conference.
