Mr. Temmy Tanubrata of HELP Logistics will be delivering a talk about Humanitarian Logistics to the Masters students. He will be covering capacity building and resourcing in a typical humanitarian organization.
Bio: Temmy Tanubrata is the Regional Director of HELP Logistics for Asia. Prior to his appointment with HELP Logistics, he served as a director of a company in Jakarta that trades in technical supplies, and owns a consulting company that provide digital marketing services for small-medium businesses in Jakarta. He has also served as a chairman for a logistics company that provides transportation and logistics services for the region of Java and Sumatra.
On the humanitarian front, Temmy has served for 14 years on international assignments for the UN World Food Programme, mainly in the areas of emergency logistics and business analysis. He has also facilitated a number of humanitarian logistics trainings within the ASEAN region for NUS Humanitarian Logistics Centre. Prior to his WFP years, Temmy had worked in several private companies in Indonesia.
Temmy holds a master degree in business management from Bina Nusantara University and a master of science in defense management from a joint programme of the Indonesian Defense University and Cranfield University. During his research work for the Indonesian Defense University (IDU), He also served as a part-time lecturer for a local private university in Jakarta.
