On 25th November 2019, staff from the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI) attended the American Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Thanksgiving Luncheon and celebrated the classic American holiday with the traditional turkey being carved by the American Ambassador to Malaysia, the Honorable Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir and the Deputy MITI Minister, YB Dr. Ong Kian Ming.

MISI CEO & Rector, Prof. Dr. David Gonsalvez accompanied by Dr. Sabariah Jemali, Academic Registrar, the MISI Marketing team and students attended the event to interact and foster closer relations between MISI and other organizations within the AMCHAM community.

During the event, 32 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) companies were recognized as part of the AMCHAM Cares and received a certificate acknowledging their accomplishments and contributions in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). AMCHAM Cares is a core program implemented by AMCHAM members to celebrate and promote best CSR practices within the SDG companies.
