MISI Collaborating with the Singapore Business Federation to Provide Executive Education for Singapore Business Leaders

MIT Global SCALE Centers MISI & ZLC together with the Singapore Business Federation have teamed up to design and deliver an executive education program targeting senior business leaders from Singapore.

The program, titled “Enabling Excellence in Your Value Chain”, which spans 8 days, will be run in three phases in Singapore and Spain. The program combines classroom sessions, visits to key businesses in Spain and group discussions. At the end of the program, the participants will be required to present a business plan to implement improvements in their companies. The topics that will be covered during the classroom sessions include Creating Competitive Advantage with Supply Chain, Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain Network Design and Developing a Business Model. The participants will also be visiting key businesses across multiple industries in Spain to get a first-hand experience on how an optimized supply chain is helping these businesses stay competitive.

The program will begin with a 1/2 day class session in Singapore followed by 5 days of classroom instruction and industry visits in Spain. Upon their return a final day of project plan reviews will be held in Singapore. The project plans ensure that participant learning from the program is converted into value for their companies,
