Dr. Phadnis spoke on the panel exploring business implications of technological advances, at AMCHAM’s Penang Dialogue on October 3, 2019. He asserted that companies cannot just outsource the task of educating a future-ready workforce to the government and blame the government for any apparent limitations of the educational system, but they must take an active role in upgrading the skills of their employees. He also elaborated that it was essential for companies to adopt supply chain perspective to explore opportunities to create new sources of value by leveraging technology.
