MISI’s First PhD Winter Academy

MISI’s first PhD Winter Academy got off to a great start on 9th January. A total of 14 PhD students and junior lecturers, from 7 countries, participated. Dr David Gonsalvez, CEO & Rector of MISI, and Dr Javad Feizabadi, PhD Program Director, were on-hand to welcome the participants.

The PhD Winter Academy is a unique event where doctorate students and junior faculty, will have the opportunity to meet with distinguished professors from prestigious academic institutions, for an intense period of learning, discovering new research in operations and supply chain management, and discussing cutting edge theory. Some of the professors who will be teaching include Prof. Nitin Joglekar, from Questrom School of Business, Boston University, Prof. Mozart Menezes, Kedge Business School, and Prof. Chelsea White, H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Georgia Tech.
