Harlina has had 28 years’ experience academic, research, consultancy, and training.  Since 2015, she has been actively involved in the development of Halal Supply Chain standards with Standards Malaysia, which led to her appointment as the Chairman of Technical Committee (TC) 10 Halal Supply Chain in 2017 under the Standard Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) based in Istanbul.  She is also a Certified Trainer for the Professional Halal Executive Program at the Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia (JAKIM) and Academic Member of National Logistics Task Force at the Ministry of Transport
