Dr. Gonsalvez Presents a Framework for Driving Change in Urban Mobility

Dr. Gonsalvez published an article in the Supply Chain Management Review, with his co-authors Dr. Sumantran and Prof. Fine, describing the CHIP framework from their recently published book. CHIP is an abbreviation describing a mobility environment consisting of Connected vehicles, drivers, and the transportation system, consisting of Heterogeneous modes of urban transportation (e.g., driving, walking, biking, public transport, etc.) that is Intelligent to know the real-time traffic patterns and take actions to streamline the traffic flows, and Personalized to meet individual needs.
