ASEAN Automotive & Motorcycle Parts Manufacturing Summit 2019
Dr. Javad Feizabadi gave one of the keynote presentations at ASEAN Automotive & Motorcycle Parts Manufacturing Summit 2019 held in Hanoi, Vietnam 2-3 April. The speech covered an introduction to automotive value chain for developing countries and more specifically how the increased level of business landscape volatility has already impacted the industry and is going to affect the automotive supply chain in the future. Vietnam’s motorcycle market is the fourth largest in the world and the passenger car industry is growing.

The passenger car market in Vietnam is the fourth-ranked in terms of volume in south east Asia after Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. The talk also encompassed the issues and challenges for national car brands that are being invested by some developing countries and how they could play an effective role in the global auto value chain.
