Malaysia Launches First Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ)

Digital Free Trade Zone

The Honourable Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Jack Ma, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Alibaba Group launched the first Digital Free Trade Zone in the world outside China on March 22, 2017. MISI was invited to be part of this launch by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). MISI with its research activities, education programs, and expertise in supply chain management and procurement, will continue to support MDEC in the development and implementation of the DFTZ.
