MISI Annual Thesis Research Festival 2016
23 May 16
23rd May 2016, MISI conducted the Annual Thesis Research Festival on campus at MISI. Students from class of 2016 presented their thesis projects to a jury of panelists from industry and academia. The event was held in the MISI auditorium supported by an audience of thesis sponsors, industry partners and faculty members.
MISI CEO and Rector Dr. David Gonsalvez made the opening remarks and explained how students had been engaged in their thesis projects for almost nine months and were now eager to take the opportunity to present the results. The judging panel was introduced, and it was clarified that each thesis project was allocated 15 minutes for the presentation followed by a 10 minutes Q&A session.
The jury would grade each project based on rigorous theoretical analysis to solve a real complex industry problem with breakthrough findings that may benefit industry practitioners. Judgment should also be made on content delivery and explanation based on sound conclusive results for sponsors and industry at large. Dr Gonsalvez advised that the winners of the best Thesis Research Projects would be announced at the convocation ceremony on 25th May.
