Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China is Officially Open

On September 12, the Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China (NSCIIC) held its opening ceremony. Liu Shaoxuan, Executive Director of NSCIIC accepted the opening ceremony plaque from Kirk Kolenbrander, Vice President of MIT, Yossi Sheffi, Director of MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, and Chen Zhongchao, Vice Mayor of Ningbo government. More than 400 distinguished guests from home and abroad witnessed this historic event.
NSCIIC is a non-profit educational and research institution, operates independently, and will establish master degree and doctoral degree programs as well as executive education programs. Liu Shaoxuan on behalf of NSCIIC expressed gratitude to the leaders and guests for attending. “The faculty and staff of the NSCIIC will work closely with MIT and the Ningbo government, and try our best to establish NSCIIS as an international center of excellence for research and education in logistics and supply chain management! ” said Liu Shaoxuan. NSCIIC is the sixth center in the MIT Global SCALE network
